New spring menu in the making!!
Organic Fresh Fingers is working on a new spring menu for our school lunch program! Our winter winter menu was a smash hit with the delicious ( and easy to prepare) one dish bakes. Our chef Kurt put together some amazing meals such as, eggplant parmesan, tamale pie and a vegetable lasagna. These dishes quickly became favorites with the kids and the teachers. These meals are packaged in 100% recyclable or reusable trays and have helped facilities cut down on unnecessary waste. We are looking at all the local, seasonal ingredients to create new meals that taste so good, the kids don't realize they are eating healthy. Along with working on creating a line of fresh soups, we are perfecting a kid friendly vegetarian enchilada! Feel free to post or email any ideas for meals using local, fresh ingredients.
